We are delighted that you are interested in data protection at Seal the Deal. At Seal the Deal, we want you to feel comfortable and secure and see our implementation of data protection as a customer-oriented quality feature.

The following privacy policy informs you about the nature and scope of the processing of your personal data in the context of the use of Seal the Deal and in the relationship with business partners. Personal data is information that is or can be directly or indirectly assigned to your person. In particular, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis for data protection. This has been in force since May 25, 2018 https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection_de and we comply with it.

Responsible Body

The body responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data is Seal the Deal GmbH, Parkring 12/12, 1010 Vienna. It has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted at datenschutz@sealthedeal.at.

Purpose of Data Processing and Legal Basis

We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (DSG):

Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR)

If we have obtained your consent to process personal data for specific purposes, the lawfulness of this processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The revocation only takes effect for the future, i.e. processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by the revocation. You can request information about which consents you have given us at any time.

For the fulfillment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR)

Personal data is processed to provide improved services on our website and its analyses.

What Types of Information Do We Collect?

In order to provide Seal the Deal, we need to process information about you and your company. The types of information we collect depend on how you want to use our website.

Confidential information is subject to our confidentiality agreement or non-disclosure agreement which we have concluded with you separately in writing.

Content and Information Provided by You and Others

  • Information and content you provide. We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Services, including when you register for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This may include information about the content you provide or that is contained within it (such as metadata), such as when an ad was viewed or the date a file was created. Our systems automatically process content and communications provided by you to analyze the context and details contained in them for the purposes described below.

  • Networks and connections. We collect information about people who are registered on our website and when you are logged in.

  • Your usage. We collect information about how you use our products, such as the features you use, the actions you take, the people or accounts you interact with, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we record when you are currently using our products or when you last used the

 

Device Information

As described below, we collect information from and about the computer(s), phone(s), connected TVs and other internet-connected device(s) you use that have integration with our website. We then combine this information across different devices you use. For example, we use information we have collected about your use of our products on your phone to better personalize the content or features you see when you use our products on another device, such as your laptop or tablet.

How Do We Use This Information?

We use the information available to us as described below and to provide and support the Seal the Deal products and related services described in the Seal the Deal Terms of Use. We do this in the following ways:

Providing, personalizing and improving our products

We use the information available to us to provide our products, including to improve features and content. We may use your connections and activities to create personalized products that are individual and relevant to you. This is based on the data we collect from you and others and how you use our website.

To Provide Measurement, Analytics and Other Business Services

Promoting protection, integrity and security

We use the information available to us to verify activity and accounts on and off our products, combat malicious behavior, detect and prevent spam and other negative experiences, maintain the integrity of our products, and promote safety and security. For example, we use the data available to us to detect suspicious activity or violations of our terms of use or policies.

Communication with you

We use the information available to us to send you marketing communications (newsletters) from us, to communicate with you about our products and to inform you about our policies and terms of use. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

Right of Withdrawal

Right to object on a case-by-case basis

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) and Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balancing of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 para. 4 GDPR. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains lawful.

Right to object to the processing of data

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. The objection can be made informally and should be sent to the following address if possible:

Retention and Deletion Periods

In principle, we only process and store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations. This means that if the data is no longer required for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations, it is regularly deleted.
